I am an Auckland-based Abstract Expressionist.
My work is driven by movement and tapping into the subconscious and life force within. There is a strength and fragility I want to express. I am fascinated by the colour and movement of abstract expressionism and have been influenced by many artists including Joan Mitchell, Cecily Brown, Piera McArthur and Willem de Kooning.
This series – The Beauty and Chaos of Life - is a celebration of the beauty of life itself and contained within that the expression of both loss and love, darkness and light.
