Paul Herbert produces individual hand-built vessels and sculpture. His work reflects the natural world and human interaction with it. In particular he uses marbling as a reference to the Earth and the interconnectivity of life, but his work often juxtaposes themes of the ancient/mythical with the modern to illustrate parallels and differences. Paul works in various mid-fire clays, using coiling and slab techniques.
